There's a twin named Alison and Courtney, the two of them really loved each other and promised to be best friends forever. However, the promise has been brokenly. Alison way to jealous of Courtney, because she is kind, and more popular. Alison want to get rid of her. She threatening her and make her to be Alison. Courtney was to depressed and fought back. Their parents see Courtney's hand on Alison neck. They brought Courtney to the doctor and tell that Courtney has a Paranoid-mental-things.

She spent her entire time at the Radley, mental-hospital. When finally their parents move off to Rosewood, they changed ther last name from Day-DiLaurentis to DiLaurentis in order to change their old live to.

Courtney thinks that finally they can be family again, when Mrs.DiLaurentis say that she need to go to the Preserve, the mental hospital, again. Courtney was crying, she thinks of her days in the Radley. How she wanted to be free so badly. So she make a scene with Alison and got Alison really mad. And then she tried to be her, going outside and be friend with Spencer when Alison said that she was a bitch. Back to the house a smile spread upon her face, even Jason believed she was Alison and looking in the mirror said.

So Courtney success for being Alison and make the real Alison sent to the Preserve. She's friends with Emily,Hanna,Aria and Spencer. She really have a perfect live that she would dream of. But Alison was manipulative and two-faced girl. She keep her BFF on the line. And nobody can't argue her. In the Rosewood, she had a control.

When finally their parents said that Courtney will be back to the house, they think they should start again, being family. Ali was afraid that the truth will reveal. Especially the switch.

This book is wonderful! The book is wirtten in Courtney as Ali side. Even though I think she is annoying,needy, and so full of confident. Actually it was Alison behavior she copying. Courtney was actually a kind-heart girl while Alison was really a phsyco. Even though I didn't read the book, I kinda like to watch the series, it quite entertaining, though in the series, they never mentioned about Alison having a twin-sister. And I think being friend with person such a Alison will be tiring. I can see how manipulating she is. And the ending, omg I so freaked out! But the bad side is this book still leaving me with much question about Alison and Courtney and the unknown person in the last chapter.
