Yet she is caught by someone and bring her and Gabriel to someplace, there's a carnival,ferris wheel and tent in many colors. She meet Madame who own this place, thinking they were a spy. Rhine decided to be one of Madame prostitute in order to save Gabriel. She meet Lilac, a beautiful and kind girl, she own Madame trust. Until she know what Madame going to do with her, sell her to the Gatherer but failed. Until Vaughn come to bring her back. With Lilac, Gabriel and Maddie, Lilac's daughter she planned to runaway and when it was one step to the gate, Lilac caught and decided to left her or they will never make it.

They run until they find someplace,again. She meet Annabel, a fortune teller. She over them a place to stay but before her customer came. Rhine was so curious about a fortune teller. Annabel tell she must be an Empress in the past. When Annabel tell Rhine's fortunes. 3 card came, The Empress, The Emperor and The world. She said that Rhine's lost one of her half, The Emperor and The world card means a good thing, something like rebirth. But there's something about The Emperor that Annabel can't read. Thing's that even Rhine won admitted. 

And then they have to go. Hidding in a truck whose bring her to Virginia, she is a step ahead to Manhattan. When finally she is in Manhattan. All her dreams, the reason why she escaped has gone. Her home was burned. Rowan left her, left anything burned. The things that Annabel can't read and Rhine won't admitted, that Rowan has give up on her. He thinks Rhine dead and he decided to live a new life in someplace.
Then she remembered an address in Maddie book, they go there, it was an orphanage. Claire,the owner was actually Maddie grandmoter, Lilac names what actually Grace and there's a boy name Silas that seem so bothered by they visited. Claire let Rhine and Gabriel live there while looking for her brother. When she thinks she can finally have a place to live for a while,she is sick, just like when Jenna sick and then comes Housemaster Vaughn.

What makes Rhine sick? How could Vaughn found her? Where actually Rowan?

I never thought I would love this book very much, actually I wan't to tell much more about this book but afraid it will become spoiler. Fever is much more interesting than Wither. It makes your heart goose bump.

Even though sometimes you'll bothered by the problem that faces Rhine and Gabriel, this book was worth to read. The romance, it was pretty confusing, even when Rhine and Gabriel has shared a lot of affection, she said that " I didn't said I love him." which is makes me "blah~" .

I know , i know I wrote something weird, it was because I forget the rest of the story -_-\
